For over 17 years, Brock Builders has been a leading contractor in the Asheville area. Our team was created by Chris Brock, who comes to this work with a background as a Certified Public Accountant, and whose goal was to assemble a company that could deliver each client’s dream home in a timely and professional manner. With this background, Chris has been able to provide clients with superior budgeting and time management skills that sets our work apart. We specialize in luxury, custom, and green homes and have had the pleasure of building and remodeling properties all over the Western North Carolina area. With years of hard work and a keen interest in developing our crew further, we have earned many credentials which allow us to deliver more and more options to our clients. We are a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, an Accredited Master Builder, a member of the WNC Green Building Council, an Energy Star Partner, and a participant in the HealthyBuild Homes Program.

One of our top priorities is making sure our process is clearly outlined and each client feels engaged and prepared during every step of our work together. Our goal is that the building experience be as satisfying for our client as the end result. In order to do this, we put an emphasis on precise budgeting and a strict adherence to timelines. Once we’ve set the budget for each project, we use AIA (American Institute of Architects) standard industry contract to guarantee transparency about the process and clarity about what to expect.

With each project we handle, we work closely with both our clients and their architect through every phase to ensure everyone’s needs are met and the work is being completed accurately. If our client has yet to find an architect at the start of the project, we are able to provide recommendations for individuals best suited for the particular build. Additionally, we have invested time into building strong and lasting relationships with superior trade partners, allowing us to offer our clients experts along the way.

In each project, we prioritize communication. Clients can expect an ongoing dialogue with us and the assigned architect to ensure every step of the process is moving ahead as planned. We schedule regular client meetings to keep them up to date and engaged with our work. We use secure web-based software called CoConstruct for fast, convenient and robust communication between all parties involved in each project. Further, we provide routine progress updates via email so that our clients know exactly which phase of the building process is moving forward and what they can expect for that week.

Above all, our team cares about the experience of our clients and we focus on their needs. From maintaining a project that falls within the set budget and timeline, to vigilantly keeping everyone up to date and making ourselves available to our clients throughout the process, our team is dedicated to delivering quality craftsmanship through an enjoyable and transparent process.
